Lisa Lempp
I began my journey in 1999, working at Mishal Katz's studio in Buenos Aires, where my passion for bag design was born.
Years later, having settled in Barcelona, I worked with fashion designer Lluís Generó. I opened my own bag and accessories shop in 2007, called Capricho de Muñeca.
In 2018, I decided to take a more personal approach and renamed it LISA LEMPP, reinforcing the concept of signature design.
Sustainable, lasting and timeless design
Each piece is crafted by hand in my workshop-shop located in the charming Born neighbourhood.
I have a deep interest in traditional craftsmanship, artisanal know-how and slow fashion, as opposed to mass production processes — seeking a way of making that is more conscious, ethical and respectful of both people and the environment.
Each design is carefully thought through to be special and timeless, and I consciously select materials to ensure they are all long-lasting.
Most of the leathers are vegetable-tanned, using plant-based substances instead of heavy toxic minerals — which is better for the planet and for people.
Each piece is unique
I find inspiration in colour combinations, the structures of buildings, and the shapes that shadows cast on objects. Bringing all of that inspiration into the studio, I do what I love most: building patterns.
All my designs are the result of my story and my love for design, crafted to connect with each and every person.
